This is a catalog from a costume exhibition held in 1989 at the Kyoto National Museum of Modern Art, organized by the Kyoto Costume Culture Research Foundation and others.
It is a catalog of an exhibition that showcases the history of French fashion from 1715 to 1815.
The cover has deteriorated somewhat due to being stored on a bookshelf.
Out of a total of 167 pages, 84 pages are color photographs. Photographs of dresses from around the 18th century, men's clothing, and clothing for various occasions are included.
Explanations of the exhibited costumes and essays on the historical background are also included.
I bought this after viewing the exhibition, hoping it would be useful as reference material, as I dreamed of becoming a manga artist.
I think it will be valuable material for studying the costumes of the time.
It has been over 30 years, so there is some deterioration. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. I have never owned pets. I do not smoke.
