I picked this set up at an Estate Sale. I don't know much about the origin. The man running the estate sale said his father gave him these two statues over forty years ago. His father had them since he was a younger man. He believes the statues were made in the early 1900s.
The statues are brass/bronze and on a base that feels and appears to be marble (but I'm not sure. Both of thess pieces are very large and heavy! The statues are both in excellent condition, and the bases have a few imperfections on each that are only noticeable upon very close inspection.
Appeox 9.25 inches talls and approx 4 inches wide at the base.
